Take Time to Pay SchemeA letter has been sent by the Administrators to everyone believed to be a creditor on the day of appointment.


As a customer, you may receive a letter because you have pre-ordered goods and are paying over timeusing the company’s “Take Time to Pay” (“TTTP”) facility. This means that you are a creditor of thecompany, as you have paid money to the company but have not yet received goods in exchange for your payment.


The deadline to finalise your TTTP agreement passed on 11 March 2018.


  • If you have not completed your Take Time To Pay agreement by 11 March 2018 deadline then the agreement has been terminated and you are a creditor of the company in respect of the deposit and any other amounts paid.
  • If you have recently settled your TTTP agreement and collected your goods, then you are no longer a creditor of the company and can ignore the letter. No further action is needed.
  • If you have recently settled your TTTP agreement but not collected your goods then you will be a creditor of Toys R Us Limited and may receive a small distribution by way of the prescribed part in due course. You do not need to take any action.
  • If you have yet to settle your TTTP agreement, then you will be a creditor of Toys R Us Limited for the value of your deposit and may receive a small distribution by way of the prescribed part in due course. You do not need to take any action.No cash refunds can be issued in respect of deposits paid prior to Administration.
